As-Built Improvements Survey Projects

Lee Hardware/United Jewelers Apartments - Shreveport, LA:

The specific scope of this project was to the renovation and remodeling of the existing Lee Hardware/United Jewelers building in 2020 located in Shreveport, Louisiana. The existing warehouse building was going to be repurposed for new apartments. A&A was tasked with performing a as-built survey of the completed remodeling project. This required A&A to send out the company survey crew to obtain the needed survey data for this site. Gate access was required for the facility, due to their security procedures. A&A investigated the area to discover existing monumentation, and the findings were documented. The buildings were tied down relative to the monuments and shown on the finished map for the purpose of this survey. This survey was recently updated by A&A in 2023 due to some additional renovations performed at the site.

Hilton Garden Inn Project - 5971 Financial Plaza Shreveport, LA:

A&A was selected as the designer for the parking lot for the new hotel to be constructed in the Shreveport area in 2006. The parking lot was constructed of concrete pavement. Legal descriptions for the property were required to be created as well as a new one lot subdivision for the new site. Upon completion of the construction activities, a new survey was commissioned to be performed. This As-Built survey showed the full site, as well as the newly constructed hotel building in relation to the property lines. This survey was updated again by A&A in 2013 as an ALTA/NSPS survey.

Cambridge Court I & II Housing Complex:

The project specifics consisted of designing new housing complex along Nelson Street located in Shreveport, LA. The new site would be developed in multiple phases Cambridge Court I & II. The two complexes were designed and built one after another to help mitigate costs incurred by the developer. A&A was tasked with designing the parking, drainage, and utility tie-ins for the project. Upon completion of the construction for the complexes, A&A performed a site survey. This data was then utilized to produce the final As-Built survey for these sites.

Dollar General Project - 5690 W. 70th St. Shreveport, LA:

A&A was selected as the designer for the parking lot for the new Dollar General convenience store to be constructed in the Shreveport area in 2008. The parking lot was constructed of concrete pavement. Legal descriptions for the property were required to be created as well as a new one lot subdivision for the new site. Upon completion of the construction activities a year later, a new survey was commissioned to be performed. This As-Built survey showed the full site, as well as the newly constructed hotel building in relation to the property lines. This survey was updated again by A&A in 2021 as an ALTA/NSPS survey.
