ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey Projects

Boomtown Casino ALTA/NSPS Survey Bossier City, Louisiana:

Atchley & Atchley was selected in 2016 to produce an ALTA/NSPS survey of the 22.65 acre Boomtown Casino which is located in Bossier City, LA. To produce it in the timeframe desired it was determined the most efficient way was a drone aerial survey. To facilitate the drone survey a system of ground control points visible from the air were established. This produced an Orthomosaic 2D image as well as a 3D Digital Surface Model (DSM) that was utilized to generate the finished survey. The image shown here to the right is of the transparent point cloud that was formed from the collected from the drone survey. An unforeseen additional benefit of this type of survey was that the limits of the boat were able to be accurately measured and shown. In other previous surveys the boat was simply estimated and measured as a rectangular box.

Canebrake Apartments Complex ALTA/NSPS Survey Shreveport, Louisiana:

Atchley & Atchley was selected in 2020 to produce an ALTA/NSPS boundary survey of the 20.32 acre apartment complex which is located in Shreveport, LA. This involved coordinating with the Title company to reference itemized Schedule B exceptions, and plot them on the survey. The field crew found existing momumentation in the field, and set monuments as needed. Appropriate easements on the property were identified and shown, and it was identified whether or not they impacted the site. A&A performed all of the field work, drafting, and produced the final plat in house. The final plat incorporated all of the Table A items requested for this project.

Bayou MHP ALTA/NSPS Survey Natchitoches, Louisiana:

Atchley & Atchley was selected in 2023 to produce an ALTA/NSPS boundary survey of the 72.68 acre trailer park complex which is located in Natchitoches, LA. This involved coordinating with the Title company to reference itemized Schedule B exceptions, and plot them on the survey. Additionally 45 FEMA Flood certificates were required for the site, due to some of the trailers being located in a Flood Hazard zone. A&A also coordinated with a utility location service, as well as incorporated a zoning report into the final survey. The final plat incorporated all of the Table A items requested for this project.

Glass Factory ALTA/NSPS Survey Shreveport, Louisiana:

Atchley & Atchley was selected in 2023 to produce an ALTA/ASCM boundary survey of the 53.55 acre Libbey Glass Factory which is located in Shreveport, LA. This involved coordinating with the Title company to reference itemized Schedule B exceptions, and plot them on the survey. The factory was an extensive site with many buildings, structures, and parking facilities that were all tied down in the field and shown on this survey. Additionally the factory proper was not one contiguous building, but was a conglomeration of multiple warehouses. All of which was shown on the overall survey. The final plat incorporated all of the Table A items requested for this project.
